Writing is a particle collider for reality and the imagination. And new discoveries are the result.
I’ve found this to be true. I have mountains of notes across journals (both digital and physical) that I’ve been keeping since I was 16 years old. Making space for both imagination and reality is something I’ve practiced, but never had such a clear metaphor for how it works.
And by “clear” I also mean—I have idea how particle colliders work, but trust that they do work.
